The Strengthening Carer Involvement in Community Health Partnerships (CHPs) CEL was circulated on 18 February 2011. The purpose of the CEL is to strengthen the role of carers on CHPs by making sure that the views and experiences of unpaid carers are taken fully into account. The Coalition of Carers in Scotland (COCIS) will play a crucial role in the ongoing analysis and support of carers and can help NHS Boards facilitate carer representation on CHPs.
